STAMA Integrated Health Solutions provides Alternative Family Living (AFL) services for adults with disabilities across North Carolina. AFL is a community-based residential option that allows individuals to live in a private home setting with a trained caregiver, offering personalized supports in a safe, stable, and nurturing environment.

Our AFL services are designed to support individuals with a wide range of needs, including medical, physical, and behavioral support requirements. Staffing and supports are tailored to each individual’s needs and are adjusted over time to ensure safety, consistency, and continuity of care.

Through AFL, STAMA Health helps individuals build daily living and life skills, participate actively in their communities, and strengthen independence and self-determination. Services are delivered in accordance with person-centered plans and emphasize choice, dignity, and quality of life—adapting as each person’s abilities, interests, and goals evolve.
